Sometimes the webado site is not available - it must be the hosting server that's down for some reason. I hope this doesn't become a regular feature!

Google Toolbar takes care of pop-ups and more

It's final, I got rid of the pop-up killer I've been using until now. It has helpd somewhat against the invasion of pop-up trash, but enough is enough. The Google toolbar does a wonderful job and is useful in so many more ways, besides being pleasing to the eye.

Get it now! You won't regret it.

It's fixed.

It appears to have been fixed. At least we'll soon see. Phew!

A Blooper?

Oh, boy! When things work well, it's amazing that they do so apparently flawlessly. When you hit a snag it's a fine mess to untangle.

In the desire to put WEBADO in a permanent home of its own, I may have left it at least temporarily homeless! All fingers crossed until it gets fixed!

Site Search Engine

Well, part of the problem with having a site search engine has been solved on some of my sites. It will need a little tweaking to be more functional than it is, as right now it includes all subdomains in the search which is not necessarily what I want. But, better to get more than not enough!

WEBADO Chat Room

OK, so I created a chat room for WEBADO. It's a little weird how it works. We'll see if there's any activity there for a while. If not, off it goes!

Aye, Aye, Aye! I'm getting sick of my own creation! Actually I'm getting sick of hearing the same cutey-cute song every time I get there, much as I love Bobby. Don't you? I bet you do too! Ima gonna hava to fixa that there irritant. Maybe have songs on rotation? Or a handy song-swatter (hey, did I just coin a new term?). Maybe both. That's a thought. OK, to Google we go and find tools for that! Au revoir, les amis!

Now, if only I could find the version of Google to be used to search a site..... I've seen it somewhere.... just don't remember where. That would be really cool to find again and install on all the sites I've built.

New Stuff - Fun or Frustration?

Ah, the trials and tribulations of trying one's hand at new stuff! Suffice to say there's a very thin line between fun and frustration!

But like everything else, this too I shall overcome.

WEBADO Is Now Bilingual

Well, I'm proud to announce the WEBADO site is now officially "bilingual", i.e. the French version is available at the click of the mouse. That was easier than making it Netscape compatible! It does appear to be longer in French than in English, n'est-ce pas?

Now I may not always be inspired to write everything in French there, unless the need arises.

The Blog may or may not be "en français", depending on my mood and inclination at a particular time.

WEBADO a maintenant une page en français. Plus facile que de rendre le site compatible à Netscape! Je compte fournir des versions en français des pages du site selon le besoin et surtout selon mon humeur! C'est pas mal plus verbose en français et je suis déjà bien verbose en anglais, alors....

Le Blog, lui, sera en français sur une base aléatoire, absolument selon mon humeur du moment. Cela n'est pas facile, n'ayant pas un correcteur d'orthographe fiable à portée de la main.....

Aarrgghh! Netscape is buggy LOL!

I've been struggling with getting www.webado.com to work in Netscape as it does in IE. Hah! Some fun this has turned out to be! Quite another can of worms! Big wiggly worms too!

Anyway, I think I've just decided not to care! At least until somebody tells me how to fix it, that is!
