Oh, dear!

Things never work right the first time, do they? I was advised to upgrade and update the software used for my forum. A simple matter of downloading the package and copying things to my web site and running a simple script to get it al l going. Hah! Maybe for some it may have been easy. Not so for me.

Many hours of hard work later it finally worked, but first, of course, it was totally out of kilter. Oh, well!

Still WInter in Montreal

So it's still winter here, the marmot's perdictions notwithstanding! Yet I am hearing birds chirping, so spring cannot be all that far ahead! Unless the chirps are really muzak piped in to lift the spirits of hibernating humans like me!

No matter, there are plenty things around to warm body and soul. Valentine's is just in a few more days and the Songwriters' Forum Intra-Forum Contest #7 (the Valentine Special) is going full steam.

My friends over at the Web-Stirs Forum have given me my own patch of turf as it were, to post my rantings and moderate as I see fit. Of course, that only means that I'll be spreading myself over more of the web and my often inane utterings will be more deeply carved in stone!
