My New Webhosting Site: www.webado.net

Well, the www.webado.net webhosting site has been pretty much finished. A new spiffy homepage, Mambo with some customizations thrown in for good measure. A chat room for the registered users, as befits a new landlady. And a fairly decent order taking and payment processing system, which is just itching to be used to its full potential. A few weird hurdles on the way to installing the seemingly simple links to the credit card processing provided by www.2CheckOut.com - but in the end all fell nicely into place. Bit of a communication problem it seems.

So yes, I am officially open for business. Now, if I could figure out a way to get my site indexed a wee bit faster by Google or at least the right combination of keywords that would make it stand out in the jungle of webhosting services out there.... Oh, well....

My next challenge as concerns www.webado.net is naturally to make it into a bilingual site, French and English, from the unilingual English one it now is. Easier said than done. I have not yest discovered how to add different language packs to Mambo. About the only obvious way is for me to install a complete new otherwise identical site with just the text in French. Not happy at the prospect, since it will make maintenance a terrible chore. More research is needed, to be sure.
