OMG, like I didn’t have enough problems as it is!
I just became aware of garbage being added to some web pages I visit (looking in the source code) and it really hit me when I found it on some of my own pages.
This apparently is something ISP’s adds to their subscribers’ connections and some scripts get tacked on the end of pages. Supposedly then they are ripe for some ads – but I don’t think I’ve seen those yet.
The company providing this despicable dis-service is none other than the scum called Fair Eagle descendants from the scummier yet Nebuad .
First time I contacted my ISP about this they denied it, saying it must be my website hoster – what garbage! I will be calling again tomorrow and I will raise a total stink with the head honcho.
The way this crap appears is a couple of scripts like this:
<script language="JavaScript">
faireagle_c=”P1G46″;faireagle_d=”0000007″;
faireagle_u=”551975683915297952″;faireagle_v=”1.2″
;faireagle_ts=”130504″;faireagle_g=”4087181573″;>
faireagle_p=”aHR0cDovL3d3dy5tZWxpbmFzLW11c2l
jLmNvbS9kaXNjb2dyYXBoeS5waHA_cz0yJnE9MQ==”;
</script>
<script language=”JavaScript” src=”
http://a.faireagle.com/a?t=s&c=P1G46&d=0000007
&u=551975683915297952&v=1.2&ts=130504&g=4087181573
&p=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5tZWxpbmFzLW11c2ljLmNvbS9kaXNjb2
dyYXBoeS5waHA_cz0yJnE9MQ==”>
</script>
This gets added after the tag in the source code of the page as it gets served.
I know the code is not in the actual source code because:
- Only I see it, other people don’t see it
- The http://validator.w3.org/ doesn’t see it either or it would complain.
I’m so tired of this. I spent hours scanning for viruses and whatnot.
Damn that ISP!
